A Happy, Sunny Thursday

Today has been one of those magical days in the Cavendish Florals Studio — the kind that makes you stop and think yes… this is really happening.

This morning, I received my very first official order from a complete stranger. A lovely lady had been gifted flowers on Mother’s Day by her daughter and she enjoyed them so much that she picked up the phone today to order a bouquet for one of her friends. Hearing her speak so warmly about my work made my day. Her kind words gave me such a boost.

And as if that wasn’t enough excitement, I have another order being collected later. Again from someone I don’t know particularly well. These moments, these small but meaningful steps, feel incredibly promising.

Running a small floral business is full of early mornings, late nights and a whole lot of petals on the floor… but days like today make every bit of it feel worthwhile. I feel so lucky, so grateful and so excited for what’s ahead.
